- To check to see if a product has quantity discounts available, look for a box around the price with a little downward-pointing arrow at the end. This is called a dropdown or pulldown menu, and if you click once on the little arrow with your mouse cursor, a menu list of price options will unfold:
- In this example, this particular sediment filter has four different quantity discount options available. If you wish to order a single cartridge, the filter will be $8.00. If you buy a minimum of 6 cartridges, the unit price for each one will be only $7.50 (and so on). As you can see, we've also made it easy for you and have calculated for you the subtotal for buying the filters at the reduced rate. Move your mouse cursor to the desired quantity of cartridges you wish to order (in this example, the customer has chosen 12 cartridges at a price of $7.00 each for a subtotal of $84.00):
- Click once on your selected quantity discount, and the menu will fold back up, displaying your chosen quantity. Then simply click the Add to Cart button, and you will be taken to your shopping cart page. On the shopping cart page, you will have the opportunity to revise your quantities, and the cart will automatically adjust the unit price accordingly.
